New Release Thursday, May 14, 2026

Over 129 new titles landed on Relay this week. Here are 6 worth clearing your Thursday night for.

Weirdsville

Two broke friends carry a body into the basement of a drive-in movie theater so they can quietly bury it. A satanic cult is already down there, ritual in progress. Scott Speedman and Wes Bentley play the slackers. Taryn Manning is around. Allan Moyle, who made Pump Up the Volume and Empire Records, directed. Midnight movie of the week.

Action/Adventure

Angry Indian Goddesses

Six women head to a beach house in Goa for a bachelorette and almost immediately stop pretending. Pan Nalin directs, whose Last Film Show was India’s official Oscar submission. The 6.9 IMDb rating is the highest of anything new on Relay this week. If you only have time for one tonight, this is the strongest sit.

Comedy

Marshmallow

A 12-year-old at summer camp is terrified of the masked figure from the campfire stories. Then the figure starts moving. Daniel DelPurgatorio directs from a script by Andy Greskoviak. Giorgia Whigham leads. Corbin Bernsen and Pierson Fode round out the adults. Marshmallow landed in 2025 and has already pulled 8,285 IMDb votes at a 5.7, which is well above where most summer-camp horrors settle this fast.

Horror

Celebrity

A black-and-white Woody Allen film about fame and divorce and the people who hover at the edge of both. Kenneth Branagh and Judy Davis play the splitting couple. Charlize Theron, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Hank Azaria drift through. 29,908 IMDb votes is a lot of viewers having an opinion about this one. If you have a Woody Allen feeling, Celebrity is the entry that puts the question on the table.

Comedy

The Lost Husband

Leslie Bibb buries her husband and moves the kids to her aunt’s farm in rural Texas. Josh Duhamel is already there working the place. Writer-director Vicky Wight adapts Katherine Center’s novel. Quiet and patient. The kind of film that pays off if you let it.

Drama

Waking

A psychologist on the verge of marrying the wrong person starts meeting another woman in his dreams. Skyler Caleb wrote and stars. Tim Daly and Jean Smart show up in support. A small, dreamy film built on a single question that does not let you off easy. What do you do when the version of love you are about to commit to feels less real than the one you have only ever imagined.
